How to Create an Animated Whiteboard Explanation

Whiteboard-style explainer videos work because they mimic the feeling of watching someone draw an idea in real time. That effect depends on the reveal actually being a real animation of the stroke, not a generic fade-in over a static image — so it's worth understanding how it actually works before you plan a video around it.

Drawing on the board
